Obituary

Ryan Michael Beene was born on September 19, 2001 in Hobbs, NM to Tammy Renee Beene and Henry Arenivas Granger, Jr. He passed away October 11, 2019 at Nor-Lea General Hospital. He resided in Lovington, NM. Ryan was a young man who enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing games on his Xbox One, watching movies and listening to music. He liked rap and wanted to be in the music business and work for the Granger Brothers Construction Company. Ryan was a student at New Hope High School where he was a senior and planned to graduate in the Spring. Ryan was a friendly and out-going person once he got to know you and he liked making people smile and laugh. Ryan was employed at Ole-Jax drive in and at the watermelon packing plant. Ryan was an animal person and loved his cat Sha-tiva and his puppy Scrappy. Ryan gave his life over to Christ and was saved on February 5, 2015.

Ryan is survived by his mother and best friend, Tammy Renee Beene and his father, Henry Arenivas Granger, Jr. both of Lovington, NM; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Fuller of Lovington, NM; his two sisters, Heather Beene Parent of Lovington, NM and Tela Kirk-Avila of Edgewood, NM; one brother, Andres (Andy) Garcia of Hobbs, NM; two brother-in-laws, Daniel Parent of Lovington, NM and Joseph Avila of Edgewood, NM; and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Cassandra Box. Ryan is also survived by several aunts and uncles, Leona & Mike Wylie of Tatum, NM, Linda & Troy Green of Tatum, NM, Mona & Lorenzo Ramirez of Hobbs, NM, JO Ann & Darwin Green, Sandra Granger, Debbie & Adrian Carrasco, David Granger, Ricky Granger, and Billy Granger all of Lovington, NM, Patrizia Beene DiFabrizio of Studio City, CA and Noma Kay & Abraham Gochangco of Garden Cove, CA. Ryan had four nieces and four nephews, numerous cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edwin Beene; his aunt Natalie Jane Dendy; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Granger and paternal grandfather, Henry Granger, Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Revolution Church located at 401 S 4th Street, Lovington, NM. Pastor Kevin Dawson and Pastor Tilford Dean to officiate. All services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
