Maria DeJesus Armenta
The Funeral Mass for Maria DeJesus Armenta 65, of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at 10am at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with Father Redentor Molina officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovington Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Monday March 30, 2015 6pm. A viewing will be held on Monday March 30, 2015 from 2pm til 6pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with services under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Maria went to be with the Lord March 26, 2015. She was born October 23, 1949 in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico to Bruno Pallarez and Elena Mesa. She then married Fortino Armenta May 1, 1965 in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico. She then traveled to live in America and lived in Fort Sumner, New Mexico then in 1977 she moved to Lovington, New Mexico along with her three children. Maria was a house wife who attended to her husband and children. She loved the outdoors, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Maria loved taking road trips and spending time at her son's ranch where she had her own garden. She loved her garden but hated when the goats would get loose and eat her well-groomed vegetables.
Maria is survived by her husband Fortino of the home; 3 sons: Rudy Armenta, of Houston Texas; Israel Armenta of Lovington, New Mexico; Christopher Armenta, of Lovington, New Mexico;1 daughter: Gloria E Armenta of Lovington, New Mexico; 3 Brothers: Ramon Pallarez (wife) of Lovington, New Mexico; Monse Pallarez (wife) of Lovington, New Mexico; Socorro Pallarez (wife) Portales, New Mexico. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Noelia Armenta, Isaac A Armenta, Israel Armenta Jr., Daniella J Armenta and Donovan J. Sanchez; 2 Great Grand Children; Donovan Armenta and Israel Armenta III, and numerous Nieces and nephews.
Maria is preceded in death by Parents, an infant daughter Maria Deloudres Armenta, and granddaughter Claudia L Armenta in 2010, 1 Brother and 4 Sisters.
