I served in the Army.

Juan R.(Johnny) Navarrette gained his angel wings on Monday May 28th, 2018. Johnny was 54 years of age and lived in Hobbs, NM. He was born October 27, 1963 in Lovington NM to Jesus and Manuela Navarrette, both preceded him in death.

Johnny is survived by one son Mikael A. Navarrette of Hobbs NM, two (2) granddaughters; Mikayla and Maylee Navarrette and one (1) grandson; Mikael Navarrette, Jr.,4 brothers and 2 sisters; Jesse (Ninfa) Navarrette, Maria (Bonifacio) Gomez of Lovington, Rafael Navarrette, Adan (Yanira) Navarrette of Roswell NM,
Sylvia (Evert) Gutierrez, and Ruben (Ofelia) Navarrette of Hobbs NM, numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Johnny loved his dog "Sugar”, riding his Harley motorcycle, and had a passion for fishing especially if he could round up some family or friends to go with him. Johnny had many lifelong friends he was very close to and considered them all special in his life.
