The Graveside Service for Wayne L. Thomas, 63, of Lovington, NM will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 09, 2012 at Fargo Cemetery in Fargo, Oklahoma. There will be visitation on Sunday July 08, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
He passed away July 05, 2012 at his home in Lovington, New Mexico. He was born December 19, 1949 to Orville & Anna Thomas in Shattuck Oklahoma.
His hobbies included watching westerns and gardening. He was a truck driver for several years and later worked as a diesel mechanic.
He is survived by two sons Bryan Wayne Thomas of Carlsbad New Mexico, and Jacob Brandon Thomas, his wife April of Lovington, three brothers Clifford Thomas, his wife Jody of Liberal KS, Doug Thomas, his wife Anita, of Arkansas City, KS and Dennis Thomas, his wife Linda, of Hobbs NM. One sister, Phyllis Becker, her husband John, of Moore, OK and his mother Anna Mae Thomas, of the home in Lovington NM, and five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Orville William Thomas and one brother.
