Funeral Service for Alejandro Salcido, 26 of Lovington, New Mexico is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Lovington, new Mexico with Reverend Father Manuel Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow at the Lovington Cemetary. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He passed away May 31, 2012 at Pecos, Texas. He was born July 17, 1985 to Merced Salcido and Bertha Quintana Salcido. He married Manuela Ortega, December 21, 2005. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Lovington, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Manuela Ortega of Lovington, daughter Azul Jimena Salcido, & son Alejandro Jr. Salcido of Lovington, New Mexico, four brothers, Jesus Jose Salcido, of Colorado, Oscar Salcido of Lovington, Pedro Salcido and Juan Salcido, of Lovington. Five sisters, Elvira Gonzalez, Angelina Salcido, Aracely Fino, Maria Julia Martinez and Adriana Salcido of Lovington. He was born in Cuidad Delicias, Chihuahua Mexico. He enjoyed riding and raising horses.
