Funeral Service for Mary Beth Moutray, 78, of Lovington, New Mexico is scheduled for Monday, July12, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Mack McCarthick officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She passed away July 8, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 19, 1932 in Hackberry, Texas to William A. & Laura Hicks. She married Melvin Moutray November 18, 1947 in Uvalde, Texas. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church for many years. She has lived in Lovington since 1956. Her Sunday School Class was very important to her. The greatest joy in her life was sharing time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters Debbie Kirkpatrick of Lovington, New Mexico and Donna Humble and husband Jimmy of Lovington, New Mexico, one brother John Hicks and wife Barbara of Campwood, Texas, five grandchildren Jimmy & Misty Humble, Randy & Elizabeth Humble, Matthew & Amber Humble, Kendrea & Jimmy Hayes and Kourtney Ragsdale and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Moutray in 2005.
