Funeral Service for Cody Carter, 26, of Lovington, New Mexico will be February 20, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Canon Funeral Home, 1429 Farr, Waller, Texas 77484. A Family & Friends Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 from 2 to 8 pm at the Canon Funeral Home in Waller, Texas. He passed away February 14, 2010 at his residence in Lovington, New Mexico. (A service was held in Lovington at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel for friends on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM). Local arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He was born July 9, 1983 in Denver, Colorado to Bruce & Kathy Carter. He was a member of the Working Ranch Cowboys Association.

He is survived by his daughter Sadie A. Carter, his mother Kathy R. Carter, his father & stepmother Bruce D. & Lori G. Carter, brothers Sean C. & Shane D. Carter, grandmother Patricia Carter, grandmother De Weese and grandfather Ray Weese.
