Joan Spears Warren, 76, of Lovington, NM passed away January 2, 2010 at her residence. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Plains, Texas. Cremation has taken place. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born April 3, 1933 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plains. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons Charles Fisher & spouse Alice of Campbell, TX and Berry Fisher and spouse Robin of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter Louann Byrum of Hobbs, NM; one brother Charles Spears of Las Cruces, NM, two granddaughters Marcey Byrum of Dallas, TX and Kelsey Myers of Hobbs, NM; two nephews Creig Sherrin of Albany TX and Darrell Sherrin of Bryson, TX; Special friend Shawn Myers of Hobbs, NM

She was preceded in death a grandson Kyle Fisher and sister Mary Lou Sherrin.
