Funeral services for Steve Jones, 52, formerly of Tatum, NM will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at United Methodist Church in Tatum, with Pastor Leisha Joiner officiating. Visitation will be on Friday June 28, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tatum Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Steve was born to Jack G Jones and Patricia Ann Pritchard on May 6, 1961 in Lubbock, Texas and went to meet his Heavenly Father on June 25, 2013. Steve worked at Kent Companies for several years. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, one brother Mike Buffalo Jones 1996.

He is survived by his parents Jack Jones of Lovington, NM and Pat Jennings of Tatum, NM one sister Cyndi Jones of Tatum, one niece Tessa Torres and husband Daniel Torres, of Hobbs, NM, one nephew, Christopher Homer, of Lubbock, TX and Steves girlfriend, Andrea Kelly of Plano, TX.
