Joan brought a smile to our faces every time we were around her. She had so much talent. Her painting, sharing her ceramics and was a joy to have conversations with. Happy people are the best! We remember Joan as one happy gal! Sending our thoughts and sympathy. Heaven gained a sweet one!
 

Aunt Joan,

Pictures you painted hang in our room. You used to paint horses on the color by number sets.

I remember you as the most loving and caring person I knew as a child. When we would come to visit when I was little, I knew when I messed up and got mischievous I would here, "Now Timothy Mark", and that sound to this day makes me smile.

When you met my wife, so many years ago, you greeted her with the same love and affection you showed to all of us. She was so touched to be a stranger, yet be as much a part of the family as those that grew up with you always around.

We will miss you, but your memory,your love, and your kindness will live on in us until we all meet again.
